Canada C3 is a signature project to mark Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation. The focus of the project is a 150-day sailing journey from Toronto to Victoria via the Northwest Passage that will connect Canadians from coast, to coast, to coast and inspire a deeper understanding of their country.
Over the course of the expedition, the Canada C3 team and participants on-board (including scientists, artists, Indigenous Elders, historians, community leaders, youth, journalists and educators) will publish a running dialogue via numerous digital platforms to connect Canadians, wherever they are in the world. Iridium are supporting the Canada C3 project in several ways including the loan of an Iridium GO! satellite-tracking device. The device has been connected to the Global Alerting Platform (GAP) which has allowed the Canada C3 team to provide a public map on their website, enabling supporters to keep up-to-date with the ship’s progress in real-time. You can track the progress on the GAP Public Map or on the Canada C3 website. Comments are closed.
